2.3 Shopify Integration Data

When you connect your Shopify store to Barpel, we access the following data through the Shopify API on your behalf:

  • Orders (read-only, via read_orders scope): order IDs, status, line items, and customer contact information necessary to handle inbound voice calls
  • Products (read-only, via read_products scope): product titles, descriptions, and pricing to answer product inquiries during calls

This data is accessed exclusively to power AI voice call handling for your store and is never shared with third parties for any other purpose. When you disconnect your Shopify store or uninstall Barpel from Shopify, all Shopify store data in our systems is permanently deleted within 30 days.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website or use our Service, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies.

We use the information we collect to:

Shopify Integration: When you disconnect your Shopify store or uninstall Barpel from the Shopify App Store, all Shopify API data associated with your store (including access tokens, order data, and product data cached for call handling) is permanently deleted within 30 days of disconnection or uninstallation.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information when transferred internationally.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information.
